Tampolo : Security Agencies Mount Surveillance At Airports

Security agencies have mounted surveillance at airports as part of strategies to apprehend Niger Delta militant leader, Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo over his refusal to appear in court to face trial for alleged corruption.

The Punch reports that the decision by security agencies to mount surveillance at airports was informed by reports that Tompolo is planning to flee the country anytime soon.

Tompolo and nine others are facing a charge of N45.9bn fraud preferred against them by the EFCC but all efforts to get the militant war lord to appear in court has proved abortive.
