Nigerian Army Offers N1million On Kidnapped Colonel's Case

The Nigerian Army in Kaduna on Today 27th of March offered a N1m reward for useful information that could lead to the rescue of its abducted officer, Col. Samaila Inusa.

The Army said it would provide anyone who volunteered useful information with adequate protection and gave the assurance that the information would be treated confidentially.

Col. Inusa, who is serving with the Nigerian Army School of Infantry, Jaji, near Kaduna State was abducted at gunpoint around Kamazo, along Kaduna Refinery Junction in Chikun Local Government of Kaduna State on Saturday night by yet-to-be identified gunmen.

The officer was whisked away, towards Abuja, in his Mercedes-Benz car by his abductors, who dropped off his wife. The incident occurred barely one week after three clerics were abducted along the Kaduna-Abuja Expressway.
