Finally!!! Lagos *Begins Construction of Abule Egba Flyover

The Lagos State Government has begun the construction of the Abule-Egba Flyover bridge and has been engaging stakeholders to ensure successful construction of the project.

The Commissioner for works and Infrastructure, Engr. Ganiyu Johnson said the project was a grade separation system consisting of two-lane dual carriageway, reinforced concrete Flyover Bridge and two-lane roads on both sides at grade with signalized intersection.

Stakeholders that spoke commended the state government for the initiative and said a flyover at the Abule-Egba junction was long overdue.
Also, Johnson urged the contractors handling the project, Craneburg Construction Ltd, to patronise the local suppliers for materials that would be needed as well as employing both skilled and unskilled labour for the work, adding that, it was one of the ways to employ the youths and empower the residents.
